Our story begins in 2012 when David began working for the same company as Kristy, but at a different location. They had previously seen each other in several passing’s, but never spoke. It was not until that year at the company Christmas party that David and Kristy would officially meet for the first time.For the next six years, David would frequent the location Kristy worked at before and after going to Astros games. Kristy would always have to ask for his name so that the manager could give him his employee discount. They would speak at company Christmas parties, but they never spent anytime getting to know each other.In 2018 David began working at a different, but neighboring, company than that of Kristy. David was now in Kristy’s establishment more often and that is when it happened. Kristy walked up and asked David to take her to an Astros game. David immediately pulled out his phone, they picked a date, and he bought the tickets. David knew this date was going to be something special and continues to carry the ticket stub from that baseball game in his phone case.
