Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Deposit To secure My Love Films’ videography and/or photography services for your wedding or event, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total package price is required at the time of booking. This deposit ensures your date is reserved in our calendar and will be deducted from the total package price. By submitting the deposit, the client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Payment and Balance The remaining balance is due in cash on the day of the event. If the client prefers to pay via other methods, a 6% processing fee will be applied. Failure to complete the final payment may result in the cancellation of services without a refund of any previously paid amounts.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to cancellation, postponement, or changes to the wedding date.
- If the client cancels the service less than 30 days before the event, the full remaining balance will still be due.
- In the event of a postponement, My Love Films will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a new date, subject to availability, but cannot guarantee availability for rescheduled dates.
4. Service and Coverage
- My Love Films provides continuous coverage as per the package selected. Any additional hours requested beyond the agreed timeframe will be charged accordingly.
- The client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions or permits for filming and photography at the event venue.
- My Love Films will not be held liable for any missed moments due to restrictions from the venue, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
5. Creative Control and Delivery
- My Love Films retains full creative control over the filming, editing, and final presentation of all videos and photos.
- Clients may provide input regarding style preferences, but final artistic and technical decisions remain at the discretion of My Love Films.
- Standard delivery time for edited wedding videos and photos is 6-12 weeks, depending on workload and complexity. Expedited editing may be available for an additional fee.
6. Liability and Force Majeure
- While My Love Films takes all reasonable measures to provide high-quality service, we are not liable for unforeseen circumstances such as equipment failure, severe weather, or health emergencies.
- In the unlikely event that My Love Films is unable to fulfill the agreement due to an emergency or force majeure, we will make every effort to find a replacement videographer/photographer. If no suitable replacement is found, a refund of payments beyond the deposit may be considered.
7. Copyright and Usage
- My Love Films retains the copyright to all videos and photos captured. The client is granted personal usage rights for sharing, printing, and non-commercial purposes.
- My Love Films reserves the right to use videos and photos for promotional purposes, including websites, social media, and portfolio showcases unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Agreement Acknowledgment By submitting the deposit, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. This agreement is legally binding and ensures a professional and seamless collaboration between the client and My Love Films.
